After 20 years using Orton-Gillingham and other methods, I switched to a more natural approach to reading.

My approach to teaching reading involves using natural learning methods that are highly engaging and instructive.

Step 1: We begin with an assessment of your child's reading skills.

Step 2: Meet to discuss results and the plan forward.

Step 3: A personalized plan is put together.

Step 4: A reading specialist works with your child 1-1

Step 5: Customized activities/reading for your student

Our primary system for online reading instruction is EBLI but I use a variety of other tools and systems, including a huge library of books to ensure each student learns to read using stories they care about.

EBLI (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction) is a structured literacy system using a Speech-to-Print approach to teach reading, writing, and spelling.
